InuYasha is an out of the ordinary historical fantasy adventure (with a touch of gothic horror) from the "Queen of Romantic Comedy," Rumiko Takahashi! Through a trick of fate, Kagome's destiny is linked to a doglike half-demon named Inu-Yasha, who remembers Kagome's previous incarnation as the woman who killed him, and the same trick of fate has tied her destiny to the mysterious Jewel of Four Souls, which can fulfill the dreams of any person or monster. When the jewel is shattered into shards, they must work together to find the pieces before everyone's worst nightmare comes true.
